Healthy Homes is a home-visiting program that serves pregnant mothers and families with children up to age five who have been affected by domestic violence. Case managers connect families to community resources and therapists provide counseling to children and their primary caregivers; counseling focuses on helping family members heal from trauma, strengthening parent-child relationships, and enhancing parenting skills.
Healthy Homes strives to prevent child abuse and neglect, enhance the parent-child relationship, and reduce the impact of risk factors such as domestic violence, trauma, poverty, food insecurity, substance abuse, mental illness, and language barriers, among others.
The following program highlights are free of charge to families and available in English or Spanish.
