Learning Together
The Learning Together program provides FREE home visits to pregnant mothers and to families with children up to age 5. Twice-monthly home visits focus on child development, literacy and parenting skills; Early Childhood Parent Educators bring developmentally-based parent/child activities that support parents in learning new ways to interact with their children while preparing them for preschool and kindergarten. Parent Educators provide developmental screenings and help families connect with community resources such as early education, health, nutrition, mental health and parenting classes. The program is available in East Palo Alto, East Menlo Park and Redwood City; services are available in English, Spanish, Tongan, and Fijian.
