Learning Together
The Learning Together program provides FREE home visits to pregnant mothers and to families with children up to age 5. Weekly home visits focus on child development, literacy and parenting skills; Early Childhood Parent Educators bring developmentally-based parent/child activities that support parents in learning new ways to interact with their children while preparing them for preschool and kindergarten. Parent Educators provide developmental screenings and help families connect with community resources such as early education, health, nutrition, mental health and parenting classes. The program is available in the communities of Half Moon Bay, Pacifica, South San Francisco, Daly City, San Mateo, Redwood City, East Palo Alto and Menlo Park.
